OSCE Station Development

The objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) is composed of 12 stations during the exam.

It is important for the CDMRE to consistently develop new stations so that two OSCEs may be administered in a year with a majority turnover of the stations on the exam. Stations, and the items within them, represent all areas of the competency profile and are selected for an exam based on the exam blueprint.

To develop stations takes knowledge and skill. All training is provided. If you would like to work in a collaborative environment with some individual work as well, consider this opportunity.

The CDMRE holds OSCE station development workshops once or twice a year. They are typically 2 or 3 days in length and take place in different parts of the country.

If you have any questions, or would like to volunteer for this opportunity, please contact us.
