Understanding Next Steps

Exam Results

A candidate’s examination results will be available to them approximately eight weeks following the examination sitting. This notification will arrive via the email the candidate provided when registering for the exam.

If a candidate is successful on both parts of the examination, the candidate has the responsibility to contact the College in which they would like to register as a denturist to ensure that they are meeting the applicable jurisdictional requirements. For a list of supporting regulatory bodies, please visit our Supporting Regulators page.

If a candidate is unsuccessful on one or both parts of the examination, the candidate:

  • will receive examination performance feedback showing areas (related to the exam blueprint) in which they were deficient in; and
  • may, if eligible, again challenge the examination component(s) (e.g., MCQ, OSCE) in which they were not successful at the examination’s next sitting.

If the candidate is practicing in a Canadian jurisdiction, they must contact their regulatory College to ensure that they are appropriately registered to practice as a denturist.
